Oh I love a Parade

Today's article is finally finished. I've been wanting to write about this for the longest time, as this food line has been completely wiped out and all but lost for years. You'll find nothing of this anywhere else on the internet. Part of me doubted I'd ever bring these jewels to the internet on account of finding no trace more than a sentance long comment anywhere. Then while I was going over the photos I took at Zern's I panned in on a little cranny and there I found what I'd been searching for all these years.

Mystie's Place is extremely proud to present to you.... Mickey's Parade, the Good Humor Disney ice cream novelties.

You write well and I was so excited when I stumbled upon your website. The old cartoons from my childhood were really fun and exciting to watch. As far as the Mickey ice pops, I had been trying to explain to my friends a while ago that they were one of my favorite things for dessert as a kid but no one had any idea what I was talking about. It's cool to know someone shares the same interest and excitement that I do about trivial things.

I agree I have been describing the ice pops to my friends and husband for years and no one else remembers them either. I almost thought I was crazy but my parents remembered them. My dad used to buy them for me every time I was sick. now I crave them when I am sick and no other pop even comes close to making me feel as good as they did!!

Oh my gosh!! I can't believe that they discontinued the best icecreams. I couldnt agree more with this entire article. As I read,I called up my cousin and we reminisced on these frozen treats. For years I've been craving them & haven't seen them where they used to be sold.Thank you so much for writing this article. It's great to know my cousin & I aren't the only ones who thought these were the best ever.Disney should bring Good Humor back on board!Seriously

I am glad I'm not the only one who still longs for the Mickey Mouse face ice cream bars. That is how I stumbled upon this page-- googling how to find one! I guess there's no hope. I just don't understand why Disney doesn't make them for the public anymore. They would sell like crazy!

I remember these being sold in the parks and stores. I agree they would sell like crazy even in a crappy economy. I wish I could feed my toddler these so she would know what the best Popsicle I ever had tasted like. I loved the Mickey ice cream bars with the smile face. Those fruit flavored ones were good too. I hope good humor gets the rights again.

YES! Loved these as a kid. We were living in Chicago and they used to sell these at corner stores. I also remember the Good Humor trucks having them. I don't remember the Chip N Dale bars or the Mickey ice cream sandwich, but the Mickey face bars and the Popsicles definitely! It would totally make my day if I could find just one of these. I'd totally stockpile them, lol. Thanks so much for sharing.

T-T I was reminded of the Mickey Mouse creamsicle (so that's what you call it!) when I saw Steven Universe. In the first episode, he's upset because his favorite ice cream was being discontinued. I almost cried because I KNOW that feeling. The Mickey Mouse creamsicle is still my favorite of all time. How I long to eat it again! My bf said that he found some being sold by an old lady after his church. This sounds too good to be true. So I described it to him and sure enough it was it! But he said I can only have it if I go to church with him because it will melt on the way home (it WAS summer....). Now, church for me is that ex-boyfriend my parents like better than me and constantly question why I let him go! As such, I feel SO uncomfortable at church! I had to decline. So to this day, I haven't had it. But thank you! Thank you for letting me see him again. Hopefully my bf will find a way to give one to me without me having to go to church. At least now I know others feel the same.
