Ostara

As you may know, today is the first day of Spring. This would be a lot nicer if it wasn't like 20° outside and windy. I had to celebrate this joyous day. There were happenings going on. Happenings I needed to be a part of. First and foremost being....

Free Italian Ice at Rita's! Horray! I pulled up to a large crowd and by the time I pulled my camera out to get a shot, another 20 people had gotten in front of me. I waited in line a good 10-15 minutes, but it was totally worth it for free Pink Lemonade ice!

There was another place by me opening today. It's a place I drive by on the way to work. I've gone by it like 5398990953 times by now, each time thinking it looks nice and never going in. It's kind of in the middle of no where, but it brings in a hell of a business and it looks great. So I decided to head in for opening day. I was met with a pleasant surprise.

Flavor Burst Ice Cream. I don't know how widespread this is, but Flavor Burst is God's ice cream. The edges of it are covered in sugary flavored goo. Back in the day there was a little cafe right in town called Fire and Ice Cafe that my bff Lavender Feline and I used to hit up regularly for croissant sammiches and ice ceem. I'm on limited funds so I didn't get my ice cream. Not today. I wanted to get a Coney Island Dog!

I've never really had a Coney Island Dog. I get the impression it's pretty much a chili dog. I got one with cheese because if you wanna please me, you only got to cheese me. Another 10 minute wait in line.

It looks pretty good. I was expecting a dripping glob of cheese sauce on the top, but this was much better! They like, split the dog and put some sort of delicious cheese in the middle. Possibly mozzerella. It had onions, which I don't like, but they weren't so overpowering that I couldn't taste the horse anus.

All in all, it was a good voyage. Happy Spring everyone!
