Won't you be my neighbor?
I was informed a few days ago that we have new neighbors. I'm sort of
saddened as my old neighbors were pretty cool! This one time the lady,
Melody, made homemade cinnamon buns
and brought them over. I mean, I think my skull-and crossbones Goonies
t-shirt and bondage pants might have intimidated her a little, but I
went like spastic and was all, " O.O OMG I LUV U U R TEH BEST NEIGHBOR
EVA!!!!" Then before Christmas she brought me FUDGE and these like...
peanut butter crackers dipped in chocolate and stuff. I'll kinda miss
the mennonite couple living next door, but they sold the house to
ANOTHER mennonite couple, which I have yet to meet. Unless you count
waving at them while they're by their window and I'm in front of the
garage with my blind and deaf dog peeing on the driveway.
Anyway, my computer is still at the shop. Sad but true. A little strange, too. I update a ton when X-E doesn't and now X-E is updating a ton when I'm not! I don't have a lot of time tonight to attempt to do updates, but I'll try to push something out after dinner. It's just a pain to have to do it without Dreamweaver and Fireworks. And, of course, without all the images on my old drive.
I have an early meeting tomorrow for my department. Yuck.
