I've seen a handful of shitty Batman merchandise in my life. Growing up right at the peak of the first proper Batman movie up until the new prequels it's admittedly been movie-centered merchandise. This piece, dated 1973, has to be one of the more unusual items of memorabilia I've come across. Thank goodness for progression. It's a little akward to think of how hardened and advanced today's Batman is and look back on how amazingly gay he used to be. This picture of Robin makes him look like some sort of superhero pedophile. Plus I don't like how Batman is pictured running on the package. I don't care if they're safety scissors, even Batman knows running and scissors don't go together!
