KFC Famous Bowls
I think I write way too much about food. When was the last time I did a movie review or a toy bit? Quite some time. There needs to be less tasty foods coming out. Have you tried these new Reese's Peanut Butter cups with fucking bits of peanuts in them? Phenominal. Then there's some new Keebler cookies out with minty goo in them... I have yet to hunt these down, and I may have just dreamed them up, because I haven't seen the commercial for them again.

Man, that looks really nasty...and I'm sure it tasted delish! I do like the KFC, although it is a tad on the pricey side...but do you really want to eat bargain chicken? Well, sometimes I guess.
But, I don't know if I would like the cheese in there. Even though I'm from the land of the cheese. It might just be too much.
Did the outside of the popcorn chicken get all slimy and gross from being in the gravy and shit?
I do have to say...food reviews are never bad! In fact, I kind of like them the best...
Also, way to go on not getting killed by the hitchhikers. And way to go hitchhikers on not stealing anything...cause then you would be dead!

When I first heard about these I thought YUCK. Even though I like all of the ingrediants some things just don't sound good together. Cheese and Gravy? But I guess I'll have to try one sometime. Despite having some KFC last week I rarely go there. I actually prefer the fried chicken you can get at a grocery store deli. Cheaper too.

I was inspired to eat this the first time I saw the commercial, luckily the local kfc is two blocks away. I agree the shit is nastily amazing, I made the mistake (or bonus depending how you look at it ) of ordering a side of popcorn chicken, thus resulting in my bowl being absolutely swimming in processed chicken bits by the end.

oh wow thats SUPER GROSS. i cant imagine how your heart mustve felt after eating that. i was at my brothers house this past week and he had this garlic oil cheese bread from a local pizza place and, as if that wasnt deadly enough, he instructed me that before eating it one is supposed to dip it into the provided "cup of ranch dressing". x.X i only really allow myself to eat stuff like that during the Christmas season.

I ran across your blog while researching an ice cream of the 80s. First to address your present blog… I too was enticed by the commercials to go try a KFC bowl...mine however looked much better than yours and I did not get the corn. It is oh so bad for you but tasted not so bad.
Also, I ran across your blog when doing a search from Mickey Mouse ice cream bars. Do you know if they make those anymore?

The famous bowls are absolutely disgusting. I actually did a parody to the famous bowls on my internet tv show, half-assed tv. We made a KFC milkshake. Probably one of the grossest things ever.

Thank you for the review. I too have been horrified/intrigued by the bucket. Your pictures confirm that it is indeed disgusting. Could anyone perhaps settle a bet between my husband and me? What's the main ingredient in KFC gravy? I'm betting corn syrup but he thinks they actually use flour, stock, etc. Real ingredients. Any help appreciated.

I really liked the bowls. I had the gravy bowl it was very tasty. Chelsea is full of crap making a comment that the bowl is made from scraps from the deep fryer. The chicken pieces were tender white meat. The potatoes and corn was good as well. I also tried the BBQ bowl and found that I like it better.
