Ice Cream Skittles

The worst part of my job is that I have a fancy little title that basically boils down to "Queen of internet order fuck-ups." The best part of my job is I occasionally find gifts of Transformers and Skittles on my desk from the otherworldly demented people I work with. Not just any Skittles, either! Limited Edition Ice Cream Flavored Skittles. It's a pocket-sized sundae, and I'm eating every flavor at once.

They come in five mesmerizing flavors -- strawberry, vanilla, carmel, chocolate, and orange & vanilla swirl. Now, the big question on my mind is are they even better frozen?  Can you freeze Skittles? I've put my personal dental hygiene at risk to find out! You can freeze skittles, and once frozen they turn into unchewable rainbow rocks. You're quite likely to chip your teeth biting into them, unless you suck them gently until they warm up in your mouth. Yes, I realize how dirty that sounds.

As for taste, they're kind of like mini chewy Creme Savers sorta kinda. You have to really be in a certain mood for them, otherwise they can get tired fast. I bet they make interesting ice cream toppings, though.

Hooray for the return of Myss Mystie! Eddie Lighting Frog prophesied your death by KFC Bowl, and I'm glad to see that's not the case. Also, I'm glad to see that somebody is paying proper attention to this candy, which, while not all that great, is a more novel idea than the usual Limited Edition "WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE!" treatment.

    Hey, all right! You're back!

I'm kind of interested in these...I've not seen them yet, though. I'll def. be on the lookout! I wonder if they'd be like jelly belly's, but prob. more of a Skittles texture. Mmmm, caramel! errrr, orange/vanilla. I'm so sick of orange/vanilla shit. Bleg.

    Glad you're back Mystie!
