I'm TV Teddy!
Let me introduce you to a friend of mine. He's the retarded cousin (twice removed) of Teddy Ruxpin. While Ruxpin is out teaching children the joys of reading and expanding your mind, TV Teddy is chillin' out scarfing down some pizza while watching tapes of Ninja Turtles. No one remembers TV Teddy. Perhaps that's for the best. Maybe he needs to get that bump on his nose shaved down to make us realize how great he is.

TV Teddy had a variety of videos you could purchase for him to interact with. A lot of them were, fittingly, Berenstain Bears. TV Teddy could make a great comeback if he wanted to. What he'd need to do is get a promotional deal with Build-A-Bear. That way you could change his outfits depending on what you were watching together. Imagine, a $20 bear with a $200 wardrobe and $300 DVD collection. It could be HUGE!

I think even back then he would of annoyed the crap out of me. I would have been like, "Shut up! I'm trying to watch TV!"....but I do agree with you about the fact that it would make a killing right now.

I have an inkling of remembering that god awful creature. I would have killed it as a kid, my sister on the other hand would have loved him! I'll stick to my dreams of owning a Teddy Ruxpin. I also agree that TV Teddy would do wonderful these days, all kids do now is watch TV, not that we didn't but at least we weren't watching the dreck on TV now... though there are still a number of good new shows out there. There's still hope!

My parents got me one of those when I was like 3 or 4. I was frickin terrified of the creature! Seriously, though, one night when I was 5 and my parents were asleep, I Killed it. I hit it like 50 times with a rock.
