Top 10 Girl Games Countdown

It's been some time since I did an article. I'm lagging behind, I know. I'm not going to lie, I spent a majority of my weekend floating in my pool in a large inner tube just soaking up some sun. Last weekend I had to work. The weekend before that was too long ago for me to even remember. I was probably eating cookies and watching Breakfast Club. Who knows.

As it turns out, I managed to get 1 of my handful of half-written articles completed. I'm a little wary about this article, as I have a history of people just not understanding my sarcasm. Oh well. Never stopped me before.

GAME ON!!

LMAO @ Frog Bog. I have to say though,I'm male, and Bubble Bobble is one of my all time favorites. It's probably more the awesome soundtrack than anything else though.

Wow...I think I'm a girl. I think I play four of those games for serious.

Additionally, I'm the reigning champion of the Ironic All-Male Pretty Pretty Princess League.

And I always lose at #1.

    Great article.

I'm a guy and also played Bubble Bobble frequently when I was younger. Truthfully, though, my mom bought it for herself because she loved puzzle games like this.

You could do a whole series of articles based on each level of Bubble Bobble. Especially the dreaded level 57. You could plausibly make it through the first 56 levels without dying. But once you got to 57, it was sheer luck whether you passed it with at least one life remaining. I've had lives in the double digits before and lost them all at 57.

Mystie's right though on the Goodwill/Salvation Army/thrift/flea shop connections to find girl games. I think they're required by law to have Mall Madness and Girl Talk there, because I see those two games all the time at those places.

Oh my... I was a Bubble Bobble fan as a kid, me and my younger sister would play together. She had this horrible squeal she would let loose when she died. Needless to say my parents hated the game. Most of the other games I have never played, I was not a board game, or girly game sort of person in my youth. The other game I have played on that list is Mall Maddness. My friend Christy had out in their storage shed, we whipped it out one day and dusted it off. It took us (being probably 16 at the time) 5 HOURS to finish a single game of it. It was sheer torture, very 80's nostalgic at first, but then it became a very evil sinister game of willpower. That's probably the real reason it's at the thrifts, right next to VCR College Bowl Game The SM game sounds hilarious, I wish I had a copy! I am still an SM fan even though I haven't seen it in years.

Oh wow! I'm really surprised you didn't put in that one game that was like dungeons and dragons for girls! Dear God, I can't remember the name, but it was a live action role play kit, with magic powders, crystals, and story cards. All I can remember was that the box had a princess and maybe a unicorn on the front? I never owned it, but my cousin did. We totally discarded the rules, and played with the crystals and whatnot, making up our own littke pretend game. Good times.

Moonxtal - Was it Power of the Crystals? I don't remember but I loved that game and my sister and I would play it a lot. We had our own designated crystals and loved the magic powder (sugar) so much we only used the tiniest pinch so as not to "waste" it. It came with a cassette tape to guide you and everything! So much fun!!

Excepto for the jump rope, I never played those games for girls. I have my 2 Little Ponies, my playmobiles, one of my old barbies... and a large collection of plastic animals, dinosaurs and toys from Jurassic Park. I grew up and now I prefer toys for boys. I like the Chap Mei toy line: Little people at rescue of large animals, nice!!

Kill me, I was (I'm) one of those bad-mannered girls who hate make up, jewelry and beautiful dresses and shoes.
But I think you're cool and I really enjoy reading your web

I absolutely loved the Sailor Moon game, solely for the video clips and the fact that if you poke around on the CD, you find a whole bunch of images that were never used in the game, mostly manga pictures and pictures of Super Sailor Moon. Oh god, I freaked out when I found that folder of hidden images... I wish I still had this game.
