I'm sitting at work today, drinking diet 7up and thinking to myself just how clear and crisp it looks. I'm a sucker for advertising, and all those "All Natural" 7up commercials got the best of me. As I'm sitting there, thinking about the wonderful commercials now where they pick cans of 7up from trees as though they've ripened like wonderful fresh fruit, I though to see just what natural flavors were inside. I turned over the ingredients expecting to see something like, "Carbonated water, lemon, lime, splenda, etc." and was a little disappointed when I found potassium citrate listed among other chemicals. Last I checked, I didn't see any potassium citrate getting pulled out of the ground like ripe fresh carrots.

But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I just need my special 7up sunglasses and all will be revealed.



What ever happened to Cool Spot? I miss the little guy. Looking at him always made me really want to play Othello. They should make Cool Spot Othello. I would totally buy it, play it once, and then stick it in my closet for 10 years until I ran out of space and sell it on eBay. Cool Spot tiddlywinks wouldn't be so bad, either.
