Stickers

I don't know what ever triggered it, but I am an absolute sticker addict. Some people get their jollies collecting figures or NASCAR memorabilia. My drug of choice is stickers. I don't scrapbook, but with the amount of stickers I have, maybe I should. There's no greater joy to me than dropping $5 at the dollar store for about 6,000 stickers. My favorite are probably scratch and sniff, which are pretty hard to come by these days. I also like glittery ones, especially the ones that will stick to your face. Then there's the amazing fuzzy stickers, which just add a little something extra.

It's sad when you get a particularly cool, old sticker and the glue has worn off. Then it just sits in the collection. I suppose sticker collecting is a strange breed of collection. If you collect anything else, it stays collected. When you collect stickers, some of those stickers inevitably get depleted. I know one day I'll go to grab a fuzzy stegosaurus or a smiling Ang and realize I already stuck them all over a folder I no longer have. Then I shall shed a tear for my fallen stickers. Godspeed little stickers.... godspeed.
