Sea Creatures

It's time for TREASURES FROM THE DOLLAR STORE!!!

Expanding Sea Creatures for only $1? How could I buy just one? I needed all three! They claim to grow 600%... but may take 5-10 days. I decided it was probably a good idea not to throw them in the pool, as I imagine my parents wouldn't be too happy if a little octopus wound up clogging up the filter and breaking stuff. So I took my little cuties and tossed them in the basin sink in the garage.

Unfortunately the next day I found them drying out in the corner because my mom needed to use the sink and didn't understand the beauty of my work. In fact, later on she made a point to mention my growing sea creatures in the sink at a family gathering. Little does my mother know I have no shame.

Time is of the essence, so I checked back on my sea creatures after only one day.

They got pretty damn big! Also bulbous and slimy. The one shark got bent over and looks a little sickly. The octopi are particularly interesting, as the tenctacles on the bottom feel sooooo cool. If they're supposed to get to maximum size in 5-10 days, and they look this big in only ONE day, I'm wondering if these guys become life-size! I may just need a bigger body of water. Is it too late in the season to buy a kiddie pool?
