WhiteLight

Everybody today wants white teeth. We do everything from bleach to scrub to sleep with mouths full of paste. But how do we know the best way to whiten our teeth? We turn to TV, of course!

Ah, the WhiteLight tooth whitening system. It's a As Seen on TV product that combines the power of teeth whitening gel with a funny little flashlight. You can buy one for just $1 through their online offer. Of course that doesn't include the $7 shipping and handling fee. And refills... those are going to rock you $15. I picked one up at the store for $8 to test this puppy out.

It takes a full 10 minutes of holding a small flashlight in your mouth for one whitening session. I'm a busy woman, and can't just sit and drool whitening goop all over myself for 10 minutes. Hence I grabbed a quick read to pass the time.

There they are, Mystie's teeth! I'd say the WhiteLight worked fairly well, though I do have a slight soreness in my mouth now. I think it might be from clenching a freaking flashlight between my teeth. I doubt it was as effective as getting a professional treatment, but I didn't have to pay a billion dollars, and even better I didn't need to get out of my pajama bottoms. The less effort, the better.

Very nice! I've been searching for a tooth-whitening product lately, one that doesn't make my teeth sensitive as hell like Crest WhiteStrips. Looks like that might work. Does it have your official seal of approval?
