Oreo Dulce De Leche

Nabisco hates me. 2 weeks of trying to watch what I eat and those bastards put out a new kind of Oreo. I hate them. I had to buy them. I didn't eat them though. So I sought council on their flavor. Basically it went down like this.... I got into work today and went, "Hey Chris, I need you to pull both voicemail boxes and oh, I have something really important for you to work on. Here, eat these cookies and tell me if they're any good."
And I have had my sources confirm that they are.... dare I say.... dulce de-licious! More and more snack foods are bringing in the Dulce de Leche. I filled up my candy dish at work a few weeks back with Dulce de Leche Hershey Kisses, and I never saw any candy disappear that quickly. It's some damn good shit.

What is Dulce de Leche? Is that French or something for caramel?

It's essentially a Spanish (or more specifically, Mexican) term for "burnt milk." Dulce de Leche is usually made by cooking condensed milk in little ramekins, or the can, until it turns a caramel colour. The finished product is served like Creme Brulee, or (as seen above) put into numerous different commercial products. The taste is similar to caramel, but creamier.

Oh, wow! Those look ridiculously yummy. I haven't seen them yet. Though, I try to steer clear of the aisle with Oreos. :X
One way that I try to curb my eating habits towards sweet things is to have sweet SMELLING things around. Like Tutti Dolci perfume. That stuff is dreamy.
