Little Shop of Horrors

Answer: Little Shop of Horrors
Question: Movie I shouldn't watch when I know I have to go see the dentist for the first time in 20 years?

As some of you that have been with my blog for a while have surmised, there's a Wal-Mart on my way home from work. On average I stop at said Wal-Mart about 3 times a week. Today I steered over to electronics before going over and buying boring things like bean sprouts and cauliflower. While there, I noticed the joyous $4.88 discount DVD section and popped out something particularly frabjoyous.

Huzzah! A perfectly priced must-own DVD. Sure the packaging is cheap, but they didn't skimp on special features like a lot of other cheap DVDs. As I took it home and tore it open I was a little surprised to see "Directed by Frank Oz" written on the back of the package. Technically Audrey is a puppet, so I guess it sort of makes sense. I've always loved Little Shop of Horrors since I was a kid. The singing trio always reminded me of that one "After these messages..." bumper on ABC. You know the one. When Family Guy did their parody of "Someplace that's Green" with the old pedophile guy, I think I was in the 5% aisle that actually got the referance.

Oh, and for those of you interested...

... Kitty-kins is on his road to recovery. He went in for $1,200 worth of surgery because his urinary infection was back after "fixing" it twice. He had to have his urethra "rerouted." I'm not entirely certain what the procedure entails, but I get the impression they completely remove all his manhood and make a bigger peehole a little ways up. So I'll be spending my 3-day weekend tending to a very upset kitty. I already had to clean up his cone after he threw up and got some in it. Ick.

Sick cats aren't fun (sorta like that bad dead puppies song... *twitch*). I am sorry your cat keeps getting sick, I hope his poor little urethra heals up quickly, that couldn't be pleasant. Well at least he has you to take good care of him, which will help him speed along in his recovery. I hope he is better soon!

My cat somehow broke his leg a year ago and was very expensive to fix. Over 1,000 also. Plus, the vet wanted to do a second surgery. Of course, we said no. The cat is fine now.

LSOH is one of my favorite movies of all time. I even own the soundtrack. My Wal-Mart never puts stuff like that in the discount bin. They just put in public domain crap and movies no one wants to watch, even if one of your favorite actors/actresses are in it.
