eBay Mystery Auctions
I woke today at the crack of noon knowing I had to accomplish one task for the day -- completing an article. And I did it! Yay! Now you can all ready about the splendor of the Kids Meal Mystery Auction I purchased off eBay. Good times.
I got distracted because Nickelodeon was showing a bunch of Avatar episodes that I needed to catch up on. I loves me some Avatar. While I was watching, I saw a particularly awful toy commercial. Not that the dynamics of it were awful, just that the whole idea of the toy was awful.

Tanner isn't just any toy dog, he's a toy dog that poops out little plastic turds. As a girl, I remember wanting Barbies that were Ballerinas, Mermaids, and Princesses, but I don't remember "Dog Turd Picker-Uppers" being on that list. If this is all Mattel has to offer, it's no wonder Barbie sales are declining.

Why do girls get all of the toys that piss or poop? Usually it's in the form of a baby doll though.

Your website makes college life so much more entertaining. No one else understandsd the nostalgic feelings I get from old commericials, tv shows and happy meal toys...and ya, the barbie poop-dog thing is bizarre and pathetic.

Mystie, you are awesome, I feel less strange when I squeal at a dirty pony in the bottom of a box at a thrift store or buy random old plastic crap at the swapmeet while a gaggle of Mexican kids stare at me confused while I bargain with their mom
That Barbie is a terrible idea! Sheesh and to think that Baby Alive just came out again, they must think little girls have scat fetishes or something.

Amazing! There are at least a dozen pieces of my childhood, right there!
I want a mystery ebay auction, lol. It would be neat to make a community of people who trade junk (even though I'm SURE they exist)... where you go to the local thrift, fill a box that size with small toys, and exchange it with someone else.

Hi, I loved your article. I came acrossed it as I was searching the net to find the best way to sell off all of The Fast food toys I have. I have so many. Full double collections,Die cast,Figure....Blah....I need the really bad and dunno what to do with this great investment I have>? Any idea's or should I do a mystery auction...LOL~~PEACE out,mary j.
