Halloween Miscellany
Today's the first day of Fall, and as such I feel perhaps it's appropriate to begin the Halloween festivities. I have one non-Halloween article I want to finish this weekend, then we'll go all out. I'm still debating if I want to redesign the site, but the thought of going black with purple spiders, or perhaps purple with black cats, is pretty tempting. About a week ago I passed this on my way into work, and knew it was time:

God I hope that's not my Saturday to work. Firstly because I want to go. Secondly because I won't be able to get home if there's a parade going on down Kutztown Road when I'm driving home from work.
There's a lot of great Halloween stuff going around -- toys, candy, decorations. Then there's the other little things that make Halloween seem more perfect. Case in point:

Halloween Crunch 'n Munch with a glow-in-the-dark cut-out lightswitch cover. The box is particularly spooky, decorated with skeletons and ghosts, and bearing Halloween's team colors of black and orange.

My lightswitch looks way more Halloween-y now.

I'm particularly happy with these tissues, as past years the best you could find was tissue boxes with leaf and pumpkin prints. Kleenex went all-out with shiny Halloween 3-plys. One has happy skeletons dancing all about the outside, hoping that what lies inside will be wrapped around Tootsie Pops to make little Tootsie Pop ghosties. There's also a particularly gothic black box with purple spider webs and cute purple and green spiders that kinda look like crabs.

Oooohhh.... now I can even wash Halloween! Softsoap has released a cute pump bottle of soap foam with glowing ghosties fluttering about a kooky castle. I tried to get a photo of them glowing but alas, my camera sucks. It doesn't smell like pumpkin spice or apple cider, but I'll take it. There's so much fun to be had with Halloween foam.
Seriously, I think I need help. I wasn't anticipating the spray range of Halloween soap foam. My keyboard looks like a bukkake film.

Damn am I ever getting in the Halloween spirit. Of course, now Target and Costco are attempting to shove Christmas down my mouth-hole already.

Looks like you're beyond set for Halloween! Right now I'm eating Brach's Mellowcreme Pumpkins (mmm), and last week at CVS I made an impulse purchase - Parachute Pumpkin Men - 4 for 1.99.
