With Fashion Plates you can be a designer!

Today's article is brought to you by the letters F and P. FOR FASHION PLATES! I'm very sorry that I couldn't muster up any of the old Barbie face fashion plates to stick in there, but I think Steve Urkel made a good fill-in.

I failed to mention they also make Bratz and Dora fashion plates, but I could give a rat's ass about Bratz and Dora. I do think Winx Club has some, too. They're making quite a splash, and they're cheap enough to make some pretty great stocking stuffers this year. They're a little more compact and travel-friendly as well.

My grandfather had a set of 70's fashion plates, I loved those dearly as a kid! Lots of big hair and long hair and tennis style skirts! I remember that much. You could try using a piece of paper that you scribble with a pencil on till it's nice and dark as a replacement for carbon paper, it works good for tracing, sure it's more effort, but it's worth a try!
