It seems like a lot of people are getting snow completely DUMPED on them, and I'm here dying in 70° weather. It's nice now so I can get some early Christmas shopping done without freezing my ass off, but really I'm hankering for a good few inches of the white stuff so I can bunker in at home with some hot cocoa. I was off today at the VF Outlets because my mother informed me my eldest brother is one of those poor fucks that's in dire, dire need of underwear. My brothers are incapable of dressing themselves, my mother hates shopping, and I since I knew of a good spot that sold poker-themed boxers in his size, I became the lucky underwear buying candidate. Bleck.

I had to go grocery shopping at Wal-Mart today, which is an odd sort of affair during the holiday season. As I stated, my mother doesn't really like shopping, so to save her from having to go all around looking for presents I have to typically get my presents myself. So while we're there I have to go, "Mom, this is the Christmas Classics DVD collection. It's on my list. It's $28. I'm putting it in the cart now." Last year she sent me to FYE and told me to buy up to a certain amount of DVDs for myself and certain amount for my brothers. It's good in the aspect that I always get what I want, but it sort of takes the surprise out of it.



While I was there, I noticed they still have Cupcake dolls, which is weird as I've been getting a lot of e-mails from people lately saying they absolutely can not find any. I did finally catch the commercial the other day, probably when I was watching reruns of Fairly Oddparents. Another cool thing about the holidays -- I get more strange e-mails. Everything from "How do I wash my Hugga Bunch Doll?" to "I'm trying out this recipe for Magic Middles." And every year I wonder what ever became of Christmas Jigglypuff. If he's still buried somewhere amongst my Christmas decorations, or if I booted his ass out since he was given to me by my mortal enemy, who happened to be my old bf's bff at the time. He was a pretty cute Jigglypuff plush with a Christmas tree on his head. I hope I find him.
