The death of a cell phone
Last month my cell phone bit the big one. It died, flat out, won't even turn on. I went online and found out that my contract was also up -- hallelujah! My phone's been under my mom's name for years, and I was finally free to get my own! I know I should recycle my cell phone, but first I need to figure out how exactly I can destroy whatever stores all my stuff on there. Not that the numbers are of particular importance (though I'm sad to have lost them) but I don't particularly want people checking out my AIM mobile stuff, especially since I think it stored every message I ever sent from it.
Today I ordered a shiny new pink phone of some sort that's pink and also is pink. I had to get a prepay phone, because that's what poor people like me have to do. We also have to live at home with our family and succumb to odd looks when we're in the kitchen photographing our breakfast. At least I do, anyway.

Speaking of pink phones, I received one of my birthday presents (see: I went out and bought one of my birthday presents with my mom's debit card). Target has these adorable pink cordless Hello Kitty phones for half off, so it was only $20! It's pink and has a Hello Kitty face on it and I luuuurrrvvvee it. I hope to one day own a pink car with a Hello Kitty face on it. I also hope I'll be able to find a man secure enough in his masculinity to have so much fluffy wuffy pink stuff around. Can you take out personal ads for that?
"BBW seeks man in Reading/Kutztown area, 22-30, at least 6' tall, nonsmoker. Must like girly 80's cartoons, auto repair, and Ghostbusters. Must be tolerant of all things pink and cute and not make fun of me for liking Howard the Duck. Will screen for drugs prior to date."
