I've seen the informercial for this product dozens of times, and each occasion I couldn't resist the urge to dip my hands into the colorful vats of sand dough. I was quite excited when I found tubs of the stuff while at the store searching for a new toy for myself. As I type this now, I'm fighting to keep my fingers on the keyboard and not smush them into my Moon Sand. It's that good.



I just bought my red Moon Sand tonight, and I must have played with it a dozen times already. The lid doubles as a mold, and I can smash my grainy goods inside and shape them into triangles, stars, and circles. The texture feels like wet sand, only it's completely dry and doesn't stick to your hands. It's tempting me to fork over $50 for the 5lb sand box. The great thing is, it never dries out, so if I need to set my action figures up in a psuedo Mars setting, I've got all I need in one little tub.
