Peepcorn
Today was a bright, clear day, just perfect for a Peep hunt. I hopped into my car and headed out to Wyomissing to search for goods. I went high and low and didn't find too much. Target has a few plushes including the new speckled beanies as well as the red Peeps. Party City had JACK. Micheal's had some foam craft kits in different packaging than last year. I walked up and down the Berkshire Mall and didn't find a fucking thing until on a COMPLETE whim I stopped into Rite-Aid and found some fantastic stuff, including the squeak and wind-up toys from last year. After that I went to Toys R Us.

I thought I hit the jackpot. I thought wrong. Despite the above poster that gives the impression of MASSIVE EASTER ORGIES, there wasn't much Easter anything let alone Peeps anything. The Easter section was comprised of a wall and a half of candy. Not even big walls. And not even great candy. The only Peeps stuff I found was the marshmallow candies themselves, the ones in chocolate, and a couple coloring books from last year. Pretty shady there, TRU. I left empty-handed, something that should NEVER happen when leaving a toy store. EVER.
