Peeps floating in a river of chocolate
Last year I reported on Chocolate Dipped Peeps, and it seems as though the art of decorating Peeps in chocolate has become quite prevalent. Not only are these Peeps dipped in delicious chocolate, but they're decorated with delicious hard sugar icing. Some retailers on Amazon are even selling Peeps dipped in fancy Belgian chocolate. Ooh la la.
But it gets even better...
Peeps riding in a chocolate boat. Chocolate and Peeps could grow into a grand culinary art form, like the kind you see documented on The Food Network. Competitors fighting tooth and nail for the best chocolate and Peeps sculpture. Peeps in chocolate racecars, Peeps hanging off a chocolate Empire State Building, Peeps battling in a giant chocolate stadium.
Oh, and those of you whining about not finding white Peeps this year are totally not looking hard enough. I saw hundreds this weekend at Zern's. They might have been from last year, I wouldn't be surprised, but they're out there. Peeps Giant Bunny, on the other hand, is long gone.
Heh,at my Community College I go to they had a homemade Easter candy sale.I bought chocolate covered bunny Peeps and they are so good.One was dipped in white chocolate as the other was dipped in milk chocolate.They costed a dollar as the rest of the small chocolates.I should be watching what I eat and weight since I get fat from eating too much food,but what the hell those chocolate covered Peeps were really good.
