I was out shopping today and as is customary on warm days, I became quite thirsty. I pulled into McDonald's for a drink, but before I got as far as the speaker at the Drive-Thru, an employee holding a tray of chilled java offered me a free sample. Hey, I wasn't going to turn down a free drink, especially when it didn't necessitate leaving the sanctity of my car.



I took my dixie cup worth of caramel iced coffee, its cool brew forming beads of sweat on the exterior of the cup. Have I ever mentioned my love for iced coffee? I love iced coffee. Last summer I was completely addicted to McDonald's Iced Coffee, and I spent many mornings debating if I'd be able to swing though the drive-thru fast enough to get to work on time. McDonald's is like a drug dealer, except that drug is frosty caffeine, and I need my fix. I thought I was over this. Damn you Ronald!
