I've seen a few nods lately at the Shrek-themed Mint Mudbath shake from McDonald's, usually in comparision to the Shamrock Shake. While it's true, there's a new mint shake at McDonald's, it most definately is not the famous Irish treat reborn. The Shamrock Shake has a vanilla base with a mint flavoring, and you can see by the cup mixture that there is chocolate present, and if that's not enough, I can attest that there is chocolate flavoring.

Though I must say, this is very refreshing and an excellent mix of vanilla/mint/chocolate that's quite deserving of the name "mudbath" even though "sickly diarrhea in a cup" might be a little more close to the actual coloring of this dairy dessert. Very Shrek-ish.

As for Shrek the Third, I found the movie to be a delightful piece of tooth-rotting sugary fluff, so if you're expecting anything more than that, you'll be disappointed.
