I think I might be drinking way too much soda this weekend. Who the hell am I kidding -- I AM drinking too much soda this weekend. But, the way soda companies are teasing us with flavors and taking them away I better get my fill of them while I still can. Cherry and Vanilla Coke Zero are my favorite sodas right now. I really should mix them and see if they taste even more delicious together. Next time!



By now you've probably all heard of PEPSI MAX and seen the absolutely huge bins of it all over the place because Pepsi is pushing so hard for it you can barely enter a grocery store without tripping on a bottle. I bought a bottle a week or two ago, photographed it, and forgot about it until just now. The gist of Pepsi Max is this - it's only available in diet, they throw in some more caffeine and then try to compensate my sticking some ginseng in to make it look like it's some kind of herbal Chinese remedy for drowsiness. It tastes pretty shitty, just like normal Diet Pepsi.



Pepsi Max has actually been around for a long time in various countries, but I'm not so sure it's the same brew we get in the States. Some of those countries even get cooler bottles that are big enough to knock someone dead with or at least cause them to walk funny for a month.
