3 Musketeers Mint

Before diving head first into my fresh copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I'm going to bring you some new developments in the candy aisle. 3 Musketeers has developed a new flavor. Not caramel, not dark chocolate, not peanut butter, but mint. I'm partial to the chocolate and mint combo, especially Andes candies and the likes. And I LOVE nougat, so this seemed pretty divine.

I was expecting a normal 3 Musketeers, but with the addition of a minty goo layer on top of the chocolate nougat. What I got was 2 small bars with dark chocolate exteriors and white mint interiors. Not by any means bad, just not what I was anticipating. Overall, they were good. I can understand why they were broken into two, because it's not the type of thing you'd want to stuff right in. It's definitely a 2-piece experience. Very light, not very filling, but a gentle exploration of chocolate and mint.

I haven't seen that one yet, but I'll keep a lookout for it. 3 Musketeers is an underrated candy bar in the first place.

But I have seen two other new candies. One was a PB Twix. It was ok, but to me any candy that doesn't use Reeses PB is automatically not as good.

Speaking of Reeses, they provided the other new candy, which was PB and Banana Cups. Elvis is on the package. The banana flavor is very subtle, but it's there and does have a slight aftertaste. It's pretty good.

I didn't really know where else to comment you. But, I found out this website through the X-E blog and I clicked on the link on your name. At first I thought "oh great a ripoff" site, but then I actually got to looking around and realized that you are a pretty good writer yourself and that's all that matters. I cracked up reading your Action Figure Makeovers, I hope that you do more of those in the future. Keep up the good work.

Heh, yeah I get the X-E ripoff thing a lot. Not afraid to admit, I did switch gears on my webmastering due to a lot of inspiration from X-E. But, Matt and I are buddies, so it's all good.

    Hey Mystie-
I guess this is as good a place as any to say it, but I figured it was about time I let you know that I read your website. I don't know what kept me from commenting before, but I'm here. There's a lot of good stuff- nice job.

That candy looks delicious, by the way.

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to say that even though your site may be like Matt's X-E, you definetly are an original unlike some of them writers from Retrojunk!

I tried this bar a few weeks ago and I can't find it anymore. It tastes more like a cool refreshing york peppermint patty type of thing with a 3 muskateers texture.

I do love 3 Musketeers..And mint, too. I'll try it out if I find it.

Not that this is really connected, but have you acquired Pokemon Diamond/Pearl yet? I saw a comment you left on X-E referring to wanting to get it..I love both this site and X-E, and I'd be balls-to-the-wall happy to battle/trade with the people involved with them. As such, if you have it already, please please pleaseee trade friend codes? =]
