I was on my way home from class today, feeling fairly triumphant about my mid-term, and cruising down with the stereo blasting. I was debating stopping at Wal-Mart due to a depletion of salad dressing in the fridge, but all other thoughts were lost when I spotted a giant pretzel waving at me as I passed. I went back. Parked. Took photos from out the window with my stealth photography skills, although I really doubt there's much peripheral vision in a giant pretzel costume.



A Philly Pretzel Factory opened up in the strip mall, and there signs plastered out front advertising FREE pretzels. Ain't no one gonna turn down free soft pretzels. I went inside, a little disheveled looking because my hair was haphazardly tied back with a bungee cord with my gym locker key on it. No one else was in at the moment, and I had that awkward moment of, "Soooo..... I see you're giving away free pretzels?" I expected a sample chunk of pretzel, but holy shit, these people went all out! Three full soft pretzels, only a dollar value, but still! Quite impressive. On my way out, a couple cars nearly collided from all the people stopping suddenly and turning around to nab at the free pretzels.

I wasn't really sure what to do with my baggie of pretzels, take them home for my family or drop by a...... ..... ..... then I started thinking about the Simpsons soft pretzel episode, and before I knew it I was at home getting some mustard out of the fridge.
