The life of Mystie has become quite hectic, and it's only going to get worse I fear. In fact, in a short week and a half I'll be taking on 7 courses at school, forcing me to wake up at 8am like a normal human being and stay til almost 5. That will go on for 6 weeks, but thankfully most of it is being paid for by a grant I received. My evenings have become unusually full, if I'm home for more than 1 evening a week I'm pretty grateful. Somehow, someway, the tiny little shy Mystie of yesteryear that was too scared to even talk to her own relatives has blossomed into some crazed social butterfly. Or, as my mother so cutely put it, I'm becoming "the plus-sized Paris Hilton". My prepaid phone minutes are getting beat to hell.

Tonight I begin part 2 of the saga in which I rope in some cute 80s metalhead we always see at karaoke and try to hook him up with my one friend. So somewhere in between school, the gym, the Wednesday family grill, swimming, showering, and karaoke I may have to squeeze in a shopping session so that my girl has something nice to wear tonight. Plus I'll still need the energy to grab this guy for her again, while possibly intoxicated.

BUT site news! BRRMM BRRRM BRRRRMMMM (trumpet noises). My blog service has merged with a podcast service, which is kinda cool, but I don't trust myself to podcasting, especially with all the other great podcasts out there. Frankly, I'd rather just appear on everyone else's podcasts. I made a video blog the other week, but my microphone was giving me issues, and I'm sorry, but it is now official CROWN COMBO -- THE LOST VIDEO BLOG. It's unsalvagable, and really, I don't know why I thought anyone would want to watch me rant about cartoons while I put my make-up on before class in the morning.
