Welcome 2008

We're a week into 2008 and so far, it doesn't feel much different from 2007. Which is good for me, as my 2007 was pretty badass. I went back to school, graduated, and got right into a job that I absolutely love. I lost 60 pounds. I gained a bunch of new friends. I got back in touch with old friends. I made peace with those I had a troubled past with. I partied, I sang, I danced, I fought, I loved. I did things I'd never done before. I met a lot of beautiful people that touched my life. I even redecorated!

Going back to school was undoubtly the best thing I did for myself in 2007. Second would be getting a GPS, because I'm not nearly as scared of driving unfamiliar places anymore. I can even make it back and forth to the King of Prussia Mall on my own. It's a HUGE relief to know that even though I still might make some wrong turns, it's still gonna know where I am and how I'm getting where I'm going. That means in 2008 a new car is going to be in order, cuz I can't keep driving out towards Philly in my '95 Olds.

Also on the list for 2008.... hmmm... a pink laptop, a shit-ton of money, a nice vacation, physical and mental strength, and to have someone special. Awww. I also want a Wii, which should be showing up for my birthday in two weeks. Not sure what I want to do with the old b-day this year. I'm turning 25, which is a quarter of a century. Almost considering reserving a place and having a decent shindig. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Also presents would be greatly appreciated, though certainly not required.
