Yes, today I turned 25. A whole quarter of a century. And I had to go to work. BUT, they got me cake at work. I was very confused at first when I saw my whole department gathering at my supervisors office as if there was some meeting I hadn't been invited to. Well, in a way there was, cuz then I was ushered over and cake and Happy Birthday pursued.



I'd already done a little celebrating over the weekend. One friend took me to Red Lobster, where I couldn't even make it through my meal let alone to dessert. Damn Ultimate Fondue really did me in. Thankfully Red Lobster supplied me with a little deli-style container to keep my shrimp scampi perfectly sealed with the juices still inside. Made for quite the nice little lunch the next day. Then I was off to date another new guy. Yeah, my love life has been pretty active lately if I do say so myself.

Tonight it was bowling with the girls. And luckily one of my girls work in a bakery and was more than happy to provide a black and hot pink cake. So I sipped on my Cosmo, bowled a few rounds, and laughed with my girls. Just a good day all in all.
