Bite sized chocolate

In what I assume is a promotion for Valentine's Day, M&Ms has released packs of all green pieces. Why all green and not a more traditional mix of red and pinks? Rumor has is green M&Ms are a potent aphrodisiac. To me, all chocolate is an aphrodisiac, I don't discriminate against colored shells. It's what's inside that counts -- milk chocolate! While M&Ms can't outright say that the candies have sexual powers, there is a sultry image of the female green M&M on the packaging with the subtitle, "Sweetie... It's all true." They're quite clever, and I certainly wouldn't mind getting a pack or two for V-day, maybe bundled up with the Jones Soda gift pack. Of course, not everyone is as well informed of the M&Ms urban legends as I am.

I thought Skittles was pushing it a little with their ice cream flavors, but I never thought I'd see the day where Chocolate Mix Skittles were available. There isn't even a Limited Edition stamp on it, so these babies may be around for a while. The flavors include S'mores, Vanilla (?), Chocolate Caramel, Chocolate Pudding, and Brownie Batter. Oh yeah, not just brownie, the batter of brownies. Can you taste the difference? Yeah. Yeah you can, but you may have trouble distinguishing between them and the Chocolate Pudding without a fair examination and color comparison. If I had to put them in order from best to worst it'd go like this -- Brownie Batter, S'mores, Chocolate Pudding, Vanilla, Chocolate Caramel. Overall they're good if you're looking for a chocolate chew, but I wouldn't consider them anything to write home about. I prefer the original Skittles and their rainbow of fruit flavors.

If I didn't know better I would swear I was eating a really old M&M.

I saw these here. And then I saw them at the store. and I decided to try them and see if they were as MEH as you said they were.
So, for the record - I don not like skittles. I also do not like chocolate. But for some reason- these were AWESOME! Other than that caramel crap that they tried to pawn off, ALL were very, VERY GOOD. I loved analyzing their individual flavor.
I totally feel like writing my OWN blog about this. I think I will. Be prepared to be linked!
