Belated Muppets announcement
I picked this up a couple weeks after Christmas and kept putting off blogging about it. I know we're well past the holidays now, but this is something that may not wait until next year. Through an advertisement on MySpace of all places, I found something I'd been wanting for a long time and something I'm sure my readers will be eager to purchase. An uncut DVD of A Muppet Family Christmas.

Yes, some clever salesperson managed to take the chopped official DVD (which will rock you about $50 on eBay) and and fuse it seamlessly with the missing scenes taken off VHS copy. Very professional although very *ahem* "unofficial", but still a Muppet fan's wet dream. Check out JennyVision.com if you want a copy of your own.

Oh man, thanks so much for posting this! I have this on VHS and I thought mine was uncut, but after looking at that site I realized it wasn't. Boo. I may have to pick up one of these.

Okay it's Feb... but I need my Muppets Family Christmas.. I haven't seen that special in 100 years. That is an awesome find. In other news.... the little image of the cassette player in the upper corner of your blog.. HOLY FUCK! I got that exact player when I was 3 for Christmas. It came with a bright yellow tape that taught you how to record your own story and make sound effects to go with it on one side of the tape and the other side was blank so you could record your story. I also got Amber's Dream and Amber (not Ember... dammit) the pony and cassette package. I remember blaring my ultra squeaky tape of Flash Beagle (and other Peanuts songs) on that silly player... good times!
