I have this affliction with ordering free samples online. I once wasted an entire weekend filling in forms and directing all the e-mail contacts to an old Yahoo account just to get some sample packs of lotion. I don't even remember all the things I put in for, but some of it does come after a few weeks, and now I have enough shampoo packets to last me a few weeks in case of a nuclear holocaust in which all bottle-sized portions of shampoo are destroyed. The free samples from the Wal-Mart site always make good. My cat once got 3-days worth of food off that site.



A few days ago this came. It's by far the most impressive internet freebie I've got, and I can't remember exactly, but I think this may have been something I checked out due to a commercial. Tampax/Always has been running campaigns lately about their products helping girls in Africa, and they're pretty damn awesome. Maybe that's why they're trying to spread the word with colorful post-its and cute stickers. The pack includes 1 pad, 1 pad+wipe, 2 liners, 3 tampons, stickers, and a post-it with "Have a happy ______" written on the top.




The stickers are remarkable, because some of them even play off the whole period thing by having cute comments about eating chocolate, taking baths, and being a bitch. The site is still offering these sets, so check it out if you wanna get your own.
