You got Reese's in my Whoppers!
Two great candies have combined to form a brand new treat that's a 10th of the goodness of one of the candies alone. Hershey really dropped the ball on this one. Reese's is a heavenly combination of rich chocolate and sweet peanut butter. Whoppers are a malted masterpiece in a decedent orb. New Whoppers Reese's.... not so fantastic. Chiefly this is due to the candy being all peanut butter flavored instead of perhaps a chocolate malt with a peanut butter coating. The first couple I ate weren't entirely pleasant, but after that they stopped tasting like mothballs and actually started tasting somewhat peanut buttery. I wouldn't pay for them again, but if I was offered I handful, I would accept with minimal excitement.

This actually sounds really appealing. Reese's cups is my favorite candy in the whole world, and really dig Whoppers a lot too. The idea of putting them together sounds like a good idea, but maybe things just sound better on paper sometimes. Thanks for sparing me the cost of a box that I would only somewhat enjoy.

I hope you had a good V-Day yesterday. Hopefully we'll see some blogging action on the events in the next few days. I am sure you were out and enjoying the hell out of it. The whoppers sounded intriguing to me. I would dig some pb malt, but considering it's not coated in chocolate just seems strange and not Reese's PB Cup style. Don't they know that PB and Chocolate are better than just PB... and besides Whoppers were already covered in chocolate to begin with... urgh! I am going to resist the urge to buy some knowing that I would just end up disappointed in the end. Thanks for the heads up.

Holy, Holy, Holy shit! You are the coolest. I feel so bad I've missed you phone calls. I'm getting a better work phone that will allow me to recognize numbers and clear my mail.
