Ladies of Clue

They say the average person has 60,000 thoughts a day and I'd wager at least 20,000 of mine are about 80's movies. My friends have gotten quite used to my staring off appearing very deep in thought only to come out with, "If you were gonna fuck one of the Ghostbusters, who would it be?"

Thus the past few days I've been deeply pondering the female roles in Clue. I love Clue because it's one of those easy 80's classics that you can just pop in the DVD player on a lazy Sunday afternoon while you busy yourself catching up on your favorite web sites. The females in Clue are all pretty rockin' with distinct differences but some fantastic similarities. I've been pondering which chick from Clue I find myself relating to most, and I just can't decide.

First we have Mrs. White, who's got some killer quotes I simply can't deny such as, "Men should be like Kleenex -- soft, strong, and disposable." She also hints at a penchant for other women's men and since I've not once but twice in my life been surprised to find out I was the other woman in a relationship, perhaps it's her I'm most akin to.

Then we have the maid, Yvette, the obvious lady by day and whore by night. I'd say that's sort of like me, but I'm not so sure how well I've been pulling off the lady part lately. Though I do own a sleezy maid outfit.

Miss Scarlet is a bit of an alpha female, which I like, because I like to at least attempt to give certain guys the impression I might grind their balls into the ground with 3" stillettos. Plus I may or may not have some film I wouldn't want exposed to the general public.

Then there's Mrs. Peacock who I can only relate to on the whole freaking out basis. Though mainly my anxiety has been whittled down to driving places I'm unfamiliar with. You get me alone in a car driving somewhere I'm not sure about and I won't just get antsy -- I'll cry, shake, and hyperventilate.

I still can't decide. What do you guys think?
