Barbie 'n Friends Shrinky Dinks

I started this article weeks ago and got absolutely stuck on it for quite a while. I don't feel as bad as perhaps I should because I've certainly been making it up in stubby little blogs. The articles always seem to pull in the good comments, though. The blogs I don't worry so much about because I've been told I sometimes have a way of putting things that makes it really difficult to know how to respond, though maybe that's just a talent in relation to my serious chatter. I also have a talent for looking sultry even in candid club photos.

What I'm most proud of about this article, is I actually managed to make Shrinky Dinks without setting off the fire alarm. HIGH FIVE!

What did you think of this article?

You are officially my god, you made a Mr. Belvedere shrinky dink. That is the personification of awesomness. Seriously it is. I like your Launch Pad and Count Duckula as well. I wish I had some shrinky dink paper to make random crap to throw on one of my shelves as well. I have plenty of 80's coloring books I could trace from including Biskits, Jem, Fluppy Dogs, She-Ra etc. Hmmm... I enjoyed the article, it's been a while so glad to have one around to enjoy and your latest blogs have rocked. I am actually using my radio button to check your site for updates daily at the moment (scary thought). Yup... you're in the special place on my browser for my favorite sites, smack between Achewood and Craig's List: North Bay. It's too bad the old Barbie ones didn't turn out quite right, I could do things with that heart pendant! I used to have a heart pendant in high school that I wore that looked like a giant faceted plastic crystal heart and it was filled with water, glitter and fake flowers, I shit you not. Being gainfully unemployed at the moment I have taken up fucked up crafting like no tomorrow so I could definitely design something horrid with a heart like that. (preferably with glitter).

Small Wonder! Sweet! She was the beginning of what would eventually become somewhat of an android girl fetish on my part. Thanks for bringing back the memory of my secret and shameful crush. Anyone who goes out of their way to not only make a Mr. Belvedere shrinky dink, but then write about it, is OK in my book. But, you already knew that.

I really want one of Soundwave, and anything Batman related. I was just looking the other day on E-Bay for Batman Christmas tree ornaments. I realized this past Christmas I really wanted one, even though I've never owned a Christmas tree of my own in my whole life.

3 hours, really? I don't remember them taking that long back in the day. But then again that was a long time ago and we weren't tracking them down from coloring books and the internet and whatnot back then.

    Mr. Belvedere? Awesome.

Anyway, that old Barbie logo makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
