Rude Dog

I finished an article. Whoopie!
There's many days where I wake up wanting to do an article only to get distracted by anything and everything. Then there's days where I feel hyped up and ready, like my brain's bursting to pour out ideas and by the time I hit the keyboard I realize it was merely a creative cocktease. That's when I start pacing up and down the halls, opening cabinets, laying down on the floor contorting my legs around to crack my back, and then going back to my computer and sit down. Then I fuck around for hours and get nothing done.
Today I was determined. I was up early to run errands then went back to my quarters. Sometimes when I'm desperate to get the creative juices flowing, I do strange things. I rubbed myself in white sage. I got the idea that somehow the internet was distracting me from the task at hand, so I printed out what I had and sat over on my bed with some paper and a Freddy Krueger pen. I like that pen because Freddy's claws make it double as a back scratcher. I wrote a little then I spent approximately two hours staring off into space contentedly lost in the world of my own thoughts. I chugged many cans of Diet Mountain Dew. I draped off the bed and let blood rush to my brain. I cried a few tears. I stabbed the paper with my pen. I wrote encouraging notes to myself on the margins of my paper. At the end of the day, the writing was done.
Next up I'm thinking of doing a commercial blog, then maybe a short movie review since I did the DVD Dump revamp, but I definitely wanna hit up the box of action figures in my magical pink trunk of mysteries SOON.

Oh my God I remember this. You just showed me that my brain is full of stuff that I had no idea was in there.

I totally remember the clothing line based on Rude Dog and I'm sure I owned some of it, but I completely forgot there was a cartoon. It seemed nearly every cartoon in the 80's was basically a daily 30 minute commercial for their related toy lines, but this has to be the first time I've seen a cartoon be a giant commercial for a clothing line. What's next, The Adventures of Panama Jack? Bugle Boy and the Jams? Kid Jordache and the Acid Wash Crew?
It's so hot when Mystie talks about her "magical pink trunk of mysteries."

I have one of these VHS tapes and I remember when this cartoon was on tv. Those just for kids brand tapes always had a ton of commercials for other Just for kids cartoons. I always watched them though I thought they were quite entertaining. After the cartoon they had commercials too. So many of them I wanted to watch the series after I saw the commercial for but I never did.
And I feel like an idiot but I also feel better now that I know the right information. I always thought Rude Dog was based on Spud McKenzie!! I guess I just wasn't exposed to Rude Dog when I was a little kid!! If I saw a great neon and black Rude Dog shirt in Goodwill I would snab it up.
and DJ D, yes. yes it is hot.

Aw man, I remember that being on Childrens BBC in the UK and I can't believe you got throw an article about it without breaking down in a "B-b-big Train!"
But, we didn't have a clothing line so we remember Rude Dog from this cartoon, isn't that quirky?

Whoa, I remember this! It actually didn't air on the local CBS affiliate. But it did air on one that came from Texas or some shit that, by some fluke, would occasionally come in on my grandmama's TV. So I only saw it a couple of times.
