Well I'm done with the recap of my weekend in New York City. While it may seem that I had a terrible time at the con, I was stupidly content almost to a fault. I wonder if I'm becoming too complacent.

Interesting article. Did you run into Mark Evanier? http://www.newsfromme.com/ he was at the Con too. He never has any problems in meeting up with Stan Lee, lol!
Seriously, do you feel that you are maturing to a point that he Con, isn't as fun as it used to be? It seems that you had more fun last time.
I did enjoy reading about your attempts to catch the bus. I did some traveling in the States, by bus and rain, and those bus stations are fun places, eh? LOL!

Great one, Mystie. Sounds like you had yourself a time there. Sorry to hear a good old fashioned cleavege flash/eyelash bash didn't get the job done with the She-Ra figure. At least you scored those badass Freddy and Jason dolls. Reply to this

Awesome on She-Ra even if the guy doesn't know cute girlishness when he sees it. Your NYC Comic Con experience almost completely mirrors my SD experience. Long Lines... SOL you can't see person X... full floor so you have to wait to go where you want to go... I am glad you still managed to have a lot of fun. I think part of the fun of the con is just the sheer crush of people and the cool costumes. We were accosted by a Pikachu and some random Japanese creatures. We also go to see the group Star Wars shots that were took on this one stair case with at least 100 plus people in costume. They took pictures of everyone in full costume. Then they took a second set of pictures with everyone taking off helmets and hoods and other head gear. It was really interesting to see the range in age, race, and even the sheer amount of women in storm trooper costumes. Very cool stuff. Reply to this

wow....I totally want to get the freddy vs jason weebles and I love the santa Yoda.
I get sooooo claustrophobic at those types of closed in crowded conventions...I would prob. pass before doing anything fun. WHo am I kidding? I could actually just rent my ass a wheel chair and play the handicap card(it's a valid excuse, I have 2 bad knees and a teeny tiny breathing problem.) to get through the crowd Reply to this
