I Can Has Cheezburger Pringles

Is there any potato chip more perfect than the Pringle? Every time I see that tennis ball canister with the smiling mustache-face man on it, I'm drawn back to elementary school. At Christmas we would bring in empty Pringles cans and with some cleverly placed construction paper and cotton balls we would make them look like nutcrackers. When Pringles comes out with new flavors I click my heels as a give-in but when I get the satisfaction that my Pringles consumption is helping children, it's a win-win.

When I saw the Children's Miracle Network logo I knew they would be Wal-Mart exclusive because they do a lot of work for CMN. There was a few normal flavors like Sour Cream & Onion and Barbeque, but the Mac & Cheese and Cheeseburger were the two "limited" flavors. I'm not against the Mac & Cheese, but I don't think it's got quite the strong seasoning that plain cheese does. When I eat one, I want to feel like my Pringle has been hose down with the contents of the Kraft blue box packet. Instead it's more of a mild misting of cheese. The Cheeseburger, however, is so convincing that eating them makes me hungry for pickles.

If you're one of those people that likes to add chips on top of pizza or in sandwiches, these would be prime for experimentations. Perhaps a casserole with Mac & Cheese Pringles crumbles on the top?

It's funny how in the States it's called Mac & Cheese, but here in Canada, we call it Kraft Dinner.

The idea of a powdery cheeseburger flavor sorta scare me. Then again I think Hamburger Helper scares me way more. If I hit Wal-Mart and they still have them I might have to try them just for the "huh" factor. I've certainly tried foods you have reviewed before. Definitely didn't like those Cherry M&M's that you didn't like. If you give it the Mystie thumbs up I will have to check them out if I get to Wal-Mart before I leave for Wyoming for the summer. Then the nearest Wal-Mart is on the other side of Yellowstone and a 120 mile drive. So yeah... not so much going to the big W in the next 4 1/2 months.

I want to try those cheeseburger chips right NOW! I wonder if they are available in Canada? Probably not. I'll have to be content with my free health care I suppose....:p

The cheeseburger-flavored Pringles didn't use real beef (I dunno, in powdered form or something) as an ingredient, did they? If cheeseburger-flavored Pringles are slaughtered cow free, I'd be down for giving them a try.

Everytime I hear "Kraft Dinner" I'm reminded of that great Kids in The Hall sketch where two of them are street performers who can only afford to eat Kraft Dinner with Heinz Ketchup. It turns out they win a lifetime supply of both things due to them eating so much of it.
