Contacts Ghost!
I was laying around in bed last night merrily starting to work my way through the DVD box set of F13. As usual, towards bedtime I went to the bathroom to take out my contacts and put my glasses on. I turned in for the evening and put my glasses next to me on the dresser. When I woke up, I put my glasses back on, checked my email, then headed to the shower. After I got out of the shower I went into the cabinet to get out my contact lens case.
It was empty.
During the night, ghosts came and took my contact lenses right out of my case. I know they were in there, because I certainly would have remembered tossing them in the trash. Furthermore, I would have remembered accidentally dumping them, because contacts never leave the case on the first dump, they always stick to the sides and you have to pry them out. I couldn't have left them in, because my vision would have been blurred with my glasses on.
Ghosts, I tell you. Ghosts with bad eyesight.

Maybe you filled the container with acid instead of solution, and the lenses dissolved. Because I know I keep my acid next to my contact solution. Maybe that's just me.

Oh wow! I'm a contact/ glasses gal myself, and I'll be ding donged if I can think of what happened to your lenses...I know once I though a lense was IN the case...it stuck inside to the lid...I can justify the disappearance of one..like stuck to the inside of the lid. but not TWO...
Heres what I'm gonna do my friend...I'm gonna re enact your situation tonight with me old lenses, because I gotta trash em in the AM anyhow...I'm going to try and go through all the scenario's I can think of...such as I said the stick of them to the lid...or accidentally falling on the ground or anything...I will let ya know tommorow what I find...

Well, maybe they're like IN your eyes, but not ON your retinas. I've done that a few times, sucks BALLS.
