Fiber Tarts

When I try to explain to people the extent of my quirky side, I tell them that I get far too excited over new flavors of Pop-Tarts. It's true, I think going from Frosted Strawberry to Strawberry Milkshake and Chocolate Banana Split completely smashed that "fine line" toaster pastries were walking between breakfast and dessert. Pop-Tarts are more snack food now than anything, so aside from buying one box of new "Limited Edition" flavors, I've been trying to resist the flat cookie pockets.

Since about Spring I've become an absolute fiber whore. Pretty much every morning for me starts with a giant bowl of bran flakes covered in the special packets of Splenda with fiber. Then I drink fiber mix during the day and eat either brown rice of whole wheat pasta during the day. Sadly it hasn't stopped me from developing gallstones, and tomorrow I'll be finding out the fate of whether or not I get to keep my gallbladder. But for now, my gallbladder can enjoy digesting some delicious fiber-infused Pop-Tarts.

The Fiber-Tarts come in 3 varieties -- Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Frosted Strawberry, and Chocolate Fudge. I tried out the Brown Sugar Cinnamon and they're as sweet as ever. They're no Orange Cream, but they might be a little easier to swallow.
