Friday the 13th
I'm getting slashed open this Friday the 13th but it won't be by a questionably retarded guy in a hockey mask. It slipped my mind not to announce it on the blog, but Friday I'm going into the hospital to have my gallbladder removed. I'll only be in for a couple hours then I'm going to be drugged up and sent home to lounge around for a week. Surprisingly, I'm looking forward to it because I've been pretty sick the past few weeks. I've been having a lot of horrific pain, nausea, and vomiting. As of this weekend, my body decided it doesn't want to digest too much of anything without making me cry so I've been living off saltines and soup. It'll be quite a while before I can eat pizzas shaped like Mickey Mouse's head again.
The plan for recovery? Sleep, read, sleep, and maybe write some articles for the internets. Any requests?

Sorry to hear about your gallblader. I was wondering if its not to much trouble if you could maybe do an article on a drink i remember from the 80s or 90s called burples. They were like a kool-aide drink that came in collaspable bottles. Btw i love the site and I check it everyday for updates. Its my first time writting but I hope all will be ok with you take care.

Everybody around me seems to be in ill health, yet despite my controlled hypertension, I'm in fine shape.
As a 40 something, I am concerned though that you are going through this health problem at a young age. Please take care of yourself honey you are so special to me!

Good luck with everything, and enjoy your week off! A woman I know just got her gallbladder removed last week - she was home within an hour of surgery, and she's been spending her time off work getting pedicures and facials. I think I might want my gallbladder removed, if that's what it's like!

Oh, you poor thing. Well, hopefully it will all turn out just fine and you'll have yourself a nice little vacation. I'm always up for reading anything you come up with, but I kind of second the request on something about Daria. I'd forgotten all about that till now, but that was one of my favorite cartoons back in the day. I always kind of thought of myself as the male version of her at my high school.

feel better. watch plenty of vhs and you tube and you'll be better in no time. i'd love to read the final two days of the mlp advent calender - but i dont want to turn this into x-entertainment's comment section.

Here's to a quick recovery! Get lots of rest! If you do write a new article, maybe one on Lady Lovely Locks, or those dolls with the wands ... I can't remember what they were called, but they had these magic wands that did things like open makeup cases, etc. Ack, wish I could remember.
