Action Figure Makeover: Gambit

Ladies and gentlemen, it has been over 2 years since I last defiled a sculpted piece of plastic with my cursed hands. Here you see some of my previous creations or at least what is left of them. The Thing lost his wings and is starting to peel. One day I'll have him back to his previous glory. But for now, for now we must press on.
Today I have finished my next glorious creation. Today is the day for Action Figure Makeover: Gambit . Another handcrafted disasterpiece.
I'm in the process of categorizing all the past articles for easier selection, but it may take some time. I have finished the section for all the makeovers, so if you would like to check out all the previous pieces, you can find them all right here .

You are amazing! I love these makeovers! Do more, I say! As a matter of fact, I am inspired to dig through my boys discarded and doubles action figures and do the same. Would you like to see if I ever get around to it? I'm think Storm Trooper makeovers....

Your action figure makeovers are pretty but maybe they wouldn't peel later on if you used something other than nail polish, which is a big no no in toy customization circles. I'd recommend acrylic craft paints (the ones you can get for cheap at Wal Mart or Michaels) with a top coat of clear sealer. Happy customizing!

Yeah, one of these days I'm going to get some craft paint and do one proper. I'll have to see what I've got in my storage that will lend to it.

Hey, you remember me! I've been waiting for another makeover. Great work on this! As far as Thing was concerned, I sort of remember him being made of kind of greasy plastic. Maybe a scrubdown and a good bath in detergent will make him a better canvas for your skills.
